Cows are always outdoors because they are much too obese to be inside.

You cannot wear a leather coat in the rain due to the fact that leather is proven to rust when making contact to any fluids or liquids.

You can wear a leather coat in the rain, usually. The only reason you couldn't was if the dye isn't very high quality. Cows aren't dyed, so they're safe being outside.

They have to have a bath sometimes, and sunshine also. The leather is living tissue on the cow. So it won't shrink.

When tanning leather, you have to use a wet solution during the process. The leather shrinks a little then, but not while it is still alive.

It depend on the processing of the leather
Some leather garments are processed to be water resistant & some are not.

well i think the cows have living skin and produce the oils and stuff to take care of the skin, jackets are dead skin that cant fix or repair itself, btw aint leather from steers?? i forget lol
