That's funny - One of my children is named Ella Grace. It may be a popular name overall but I've never met a single person in my life named Ella OR Grace.
Haha. Also, my son's middle name is Riley.
My children are Tessa Rose, Lily Harper, Ella Grace and John Riley. Of those you have Ella, Grace and Riley on your list.
They're popular because many people like those names...haha.

Out of the names you listed, the only one I love is Braeden...about 10 years ago, I had never heard anyone else named Braeden, and actually thought I might have invented it! LOL...and back then, I was convinced I'd name my first born that, but of course now that I've had my first son (and his name isn't Braeden, just for the record), every man and his dog has a child named Braeden. I still love the name, I just hate how common it's become.

Anything ending in "den"is getting WAAAY too played out (ie: Hayden, Aiden, Jayden, Brayden, Cayden, etc). Not terrible names, just overused right now.
I just saw on here the name Nevaeh (which is heaven backwards) and had to look it up, I'd never even seen it before. It's actually now the 70th most popular girl name, that's just sad, I feel bad for those girls. Sounds like a porn star's name. Of wait, it is (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1453904/).
Personally I CAN'T stand the names Kirsten or Kiersten. I hate when people take a traditional name and mangle it into something ugly.
Some feminizations of men's names are horrid too such as Jonna or Dannilynn (Danielle is fine, but Dannilynn is just YUCK.)
I think if I wanna torture my kids I'll name them lanrete ssenippah (that's eternal happiness backwards) and Williama Thomaslynn

Surnames like Harrison, Jackson, Riley, Cooper, Jamieson - I don't see why they are so popular. Also Wyatt, Wade, Phoenix, Jett, Jai, Ky, Alessio, Jazz, Mackenzie,
and weird made up names for girls like Taneisha, (anything that ends with eesha or has apostrophes in it).
If nobody knows how to spell it or pronounce it, if it sounds like a surname or an object rather than a person, please don't give it to a child!!!
I have to disagree with Ella and Grace - both beautiful, classic names, just a bit overdone lately though.

Nevaeh. Congratulations, you spelled heaven backwards. Do you want an award or something? I just don't get it.
My sons name is Brayden and I didn't realize it was so popular until AFTER he was born. My doctor later told me that the last 5 baby boys that he delivered were named Brayden (or other spellings). Every name goes through a cycle. Erica was really popular at one time. So was Sarah and Josh....

I feel like that about most of the things people name their children nowadays.
People are so obsessed with being unique that they end up being stupid and trashy.
I hate: Dakota, Jaden, Aiden, Liam, Riley, Neveah, Victoria, Danielle, Cody, Spencer, Hayden and so on....
