My husband and I have a pretty unusual last name so I'm trying to stick to reasonably short and easy first names.

Thanks! These are all really great answers. Joseph and Jeremy are sort of our top choices so I'm glad to see most people agree.

Hmmmm......it's a toss up between Jeremy Allen and Joseph Allen. If you want to shorten a name even uther......I'd say Joseph Allen as you can always shorten it and call him Joe. That's a nice short name! Good luck.

I don't like Malcolm or Jonas.

I like Isaac Allen the best and Jeremy Allen and Joseph Allen are both good too.

I like Joseph. The 'a' in Jonas blurs with the 'a' in Allen, as do the 'a's in Issac. Jeremy sounds too long for allen, and malcolm has two 'l's just like Allen. I like Joseph the best.
