I wen't to go get the laundry out of the washing machine today and noticed that the drum was way to the back of the machine. I can not get the drum to sit straight. I have tried to pull it back into place but it will not go back. It still works fine, spins makes no noises, realy cleans the cloths just as well. Its just you can see the outside of the drum. How do I fix this?

Make sure the machine is level.

In the bottom there are 4 springs (on most). One or more of springs may have come loose. These springs are to keep the tub level and help absorb lopsided loads. You will have to get them put back on.

A spring has broken. I suggest replacing all of them, not just the broken one. They pobably come as a set anyway. You should be able to order them from the manufacturer's web site if it is not too old or try here:

One of the fixing bolts must have failed. This could become dangerous to use
