Maybe you are looking for more geologic properties.

hardness: 10
composition: C
streak: clear/white
fracture: conchoidal
specific gravity 3.5
cleavage: 4 directions

A diamond is evaluated by the 5 C's-
1)Cut - the shape/facets
2)Clarity - The clearness of the stone..the clearer, the better.
3)Color - Some colored diamonds are worth extra...some are not.
4)Carat - weight
5)Certificate - legitimacy
