those times sound reasonable.....
if the kid doesn't have a problem getting up for school, I would say 10:00 during the week..
Dating???? not until your 16 young man!!!!!

It really depends on what their schedule is and how much sleep their body requires. The average 11 year old requires about 8 or 9 hours every night. But in general, I think it's good if they are in bed by 10:00 or 10:15 and lights out at like 10:30. Let's say it takes them 45 minutes to be up and out the door for school. And they have to be at school at 8:15. And it takes 8 minutes to get to school. Bedtime: 10:00-10:15 (asleep by 10:30) Wake up: 7:00 Get ready and eat breakfast In the car pulling out of the driveway: 7:55-8:00 This gives them 8.5 hours of sleep. If the child rides a bus, then they should be at the bus stop 10 minutes before the bus arrives. Just alter this schedule to your family's particular needs. On a weekend, let them choose on their own, but make sure they're in bed by 11:30 or 12:00. That way, they have plenty of time to choose. They can go to bed at their usual time or an hour later or two hours later. This will make them feel more independent and less restricted. Hope I helped good luck and sweet dreams :)

here something from a real 11 year old.
weekdays: 9:30 but i usally have a lot of homework so i sleep at 10:30.. thats bad because you'll have trouble waking him up.
and weekends: whenever, but if you have something important in the morning 8, 9, or 10 will work:)
thanks for the free points.

10:00 is a good time
I'm 12 and that's my bedtime. It gives me enough time to do what i want or need to do in the day and i get a good night sleep( i wake up at 7:30 a.m.and don't feel tiered in the morning)
he shouldn't have a bedtime on weekends it's his time to have fun.
and he's right about dating soon (tell your friend to get ready for that)

Tell him to shut up that he is 11 years old and the VERY last thing he needs to think about is dating! Tell him he can date when he is 16. He has a certain bedtime and he neees to stick with it. Those times are just fine.
