Being a boat captain and around vessels I would say the epoxy fumes are very flammable around any type of ignition sources. Work with lots of ventilation and no heat sources!

here's the material data safety sheet link for WEST resin....which you can get by typing "West Resin and flash point" into search

http://westsystem.com/webpages/userinfo/safety/MSDS655B.pdf

As it says, it will flash over 300 degrees Fahrenheit, and possibly lower if in a concentrated areas.....say the inside of a water tank.....and, as others have said it may flash even lower if alcohol or toluene....which will go up if you look at it cross-eyed....are used.

Also, if you mix a large quantity of resin and catalyst..say more than ten pumps on the West pump system.... and leave it concentrated in a container..then the heat generated will be IMPRESSIVE and may well start a fire
