More and louder. Some of the things that used to drive me up a wall or annoy me are simply ridiculously funny now.
Like, dust on the table or a few dishes in the sink.
Or, deranged driver's, people who try to cut in line... stuff like that. I just laugh at them.

They say that people who laugh alot and easily will have longer lives than those who take life seriously. And I have to
think there's some logic in that, just judging by those who
in my extended family before they passed on.
As for myself, I have become a bit more serious than when
I was younger. But I still have a sense of humor. It's just that
I don't find as much to laugh about anymore. A movie has to
be really funny or slapstick before it makes me laugh out loud.
And yet, I can read a greeting card in a store and belt out a
surprised laugh if it strikes me funny. Well maybe the writers'
of greeting cards should be writing TV scripts?
I don't have the friends around me as I did in my younger
days. Each of my friends live farther away and if it weren't
for emailing them, I would maybe loose contact since no one
really likes to write anymore. And we count our minutes on
our cell phone use.
I do have one friend that when I get together with her, we
can make each other laugh so easily. She's been my friend
the longest also. Since about the age of 4 or 5. No matter
how long it's been that I've seen her, we can almost make up
for lost time once she starts laughing about something and
it causes me to laugh with her, and visa versa. Somehow
we've managed to find humor in our lives, even when there
wasn't any. And that takes a special kind of conversationalist.

I don't laugh as much as I once did...I used to live to laugh! lol!
Depends on the day and how much pain I have to deal with...if the pain is low I laugh a lot more.!! I will say that I think I am happy at this age...and more at ease with whom I am. So I think I am happier now than ever, I just don't laugh as much every day...
unless I come here and then even if I feel bad I usually get a good laugh from someone!

Laugh a LOT less. In my days of youth, so many things were funny, and I could laugh so readily. My friends could easily make me laugh. Sometimes I would laugh until my stomach muscles ached. Now-a-days, I can still laugh, but not like I did when I was much younger. It seems as I've gotten older, old friends have gone their own ways, and new friends seem harder to find. A guy needs other guys to laugh with.

I find I laugh less. Maybe cause I have so many aches and pains and a very ill hubby and my friends and family are dropping like flies, and there is just not too much to laugh about. When younger I laughed a lot, life was good and we were healthy and the kids were small and made us laugh, they are grown and in their 40's, and they all live far away,so we don't get to see our grandkids as often as we would like, life now is difficult,so there is little to laugh about.

I laugh more because I find more things funny. I laugh when I look in a mirror. I laugh when I can't remember a name. I laugh when I can't find my keys. I laugh when I have to get up 3 times during the night to pee. I laugh when I make a joke about something from years ago and nobody gets it because they weren't born yet. Yes, I laugh a LOT MORE!

So much more! I'm not so worried about what other people will think if I laugh at something now. I have a good laugh almost every day, even if I am laughing at myself.

Actually, I laugh less than I use to. Even the sitcoms are not funny anymore. Guess I better pull out some of my Ernest P. Worrell movies and get some laughs.
