i started having my period when i was 11 and now i am 15, and my period is still irregular (i think it came on time ONCE, but that is it), its not like its just always late like it comes every 3 months instead of every month, but it is just kind of random and i never know when it is gonna show. i have rased the topic with the doctor before (i think last year) and he said its normal for a girl my age, but isnt it supposed to be for how long youve had your period, not how old you are? i am still a virgin so it cant be anything sexually related. i do want to have kids in the future. will it still be possible?

Mine is irregular too and i'm 16. I told it has nothing to do with being healthy or anything like that. It's just that SOME girls just do have irregular periods and some dont. Sometimes i can skip my period for 2-3 months and sometimes it comes twice in a month.

Darling, it's still COMPLETELY normal for a girl your age. If it's still going on in four or five years I'd consult with a specialist.

It is normal to not be regular yet.....you could have irregular periods til your around 20...it's not uncommon....and shouldn't affect your ability to have children.
