What is the difference between a desktop laptop and a notebook computer?

it's a marketing strategy..computer companies are always looking for an interesting new terms for computers (esp. laptop) to be more popular and get the attention of the market.

Hi. The desktop has a separate box for the CPU, a notebook and laptop are essentially the same.
