Come off it. The fact that they are undefeated (for now at least) should not be the sole reason why. They have played nobodies all year. Their opponents to date (including Hawaii are 44 and 77, with three of those teams having only one win. Strength of schedule does and should play a part in rankings, no matter how much ppl whine. Should Hawaii play a BCS bowl game? Absolutely if they win out. However they should not even be in the same conversation when considering National Title contenders.

Stanford, Kentucky, and Arkansas would crush Hawaii.

No way. Hawaii is a good team but they haven't played anybody all year. If they can beat Boise today then maybe they should be top 10. I want to see Hawaii play a BCS Bowl game but the fact remains, Hawaii plays THE easiest schedule in the FBS.

Hawaii should be in a BCS bowl no question but not the national championship. Ohio, West Va, Mizzou, whoever, Hawaii would get slaughtered. They should play in the Orange Bowl or the Sugar Bowl, not the NC.

I would say that if they would play some tougher teams before they started their conference games, then yes. Otherwise, they won't get that chance because they haven't proven themselves.
I agree with you when you say that strength of schedule should play a part. But if you look at it the other way, why should you punish a team for dominating a crappy conference? However, Hawaii has played those crappy teams and have barely squeaked by in several of those games. That hurts their chances.
Boise State shocked everyone last year, but the chances of that happening again are slim. If Hawaii would play a tough team in a BCS game, they would probably be embarassed. Anyone who goes undefeated deserves to at least be in the conversation, but they are not good enough to be in the National Championship.

Should? maybe. Will they? absolutely not because of the BCS system. They are going to beat Boise tonight. A BCS bowl team last year. Hawaii is a good team. Kansas is also a good team and if they win out, they will be in championship game. Especially since LSU choked.

How do you know STANFORD, Kentucky and Arkansas would blow them out? Michigan lost App. State. Anything can happen this year!

I bet OU fans and media thought the same thing last year with Boise! :O

You get off it... BCS defenders point to the regular season as the playoff... Hawaii has won every match. Last year Boise State went into a BCS bowl and Won. What a hypocritical system big time college football has. It asks that you be perfect, then makes excuses to exclude the perfect in order to spotlight the profitable.

The nobodies that your favorites play are only somebodies because of the whims of the B.C.S. I could make an argument for the W.A.C. replacing the lowly A.C.C. as a B.C.S. conference. Oklahoma found that out last year! Yes I think Hawaii should play for the N.C. Fresno st. & Boise state are not nobodies. Nevada is pretty good too. I don't see any of the big 12, or S.E.C. teams scheduling them in any of their extinsive non-conference shedules

time table capability is a extensive subject. yet I even have mentioned it previously and that i will assert it lower back - if Hawaii is calling for a point to tutor itself they are being provided that. they are enjoying between the desirable communities interior the rustic and at a huge bowl recreation (no weedeater bowl for them). If Hawaii is as reliable as they declare and Colt Brennan the God they attempt to make him out to be what extra desirable place to tutor it then by potential of beating Georgia interior the Sugar Bowl. probability is it ain't gonna take place yet you on no account comprehend - perhaps it relatively is going to and while it does they might have bragging rights for no less than a twelve months till they start next twelve months without the Golden Boy

They will probably make a BCS game, but with the weakest schedule in the country, there's no way they should even be in the same breath as the national title. Would be hilarious if Washington beat them next week, as they also beat Boise State back in September.

Hawaii, as good as they are, will NOT be in the BCS Title Game, simply because of strength of schedule. Won't matter if they win out.

Look at Boise State last year, if you need proof Hawaii will not get the respect they deserve.

if they go unbeaten I would say they have to give them their shot. They win all their games what else can they do? They are in a weak conference but so is Ohio State

Absolutely not. The BCS is a flawed system anyways.
