What constitutes the two? Chess, darts, dodgeball, dance; which is a sport, and which is merely a game? Is a sport a game with an objective? At that, doesn't eveything have some objective?

What do you think.

sport audio (spôrt, sprt) KEY

NOUN:

1.
1. Physical activity that is governed by a set of rules or customs and often engaged in competitively.
2. A particular form of this activity.
2. An activity involving physical exertion and skill that is governed by a set of rules or customs and often undertaken competitively.
3. An active pastime; recreation.

Seems the activity has to be really physically active to be classified as a sport. Thus checker, chess, and board games in general are just that, games. Is golf a sport? Some think yes, some say no. So there is some controversy regarding some activities as to whether they are sports or games. Anyhow, it's a bit confusing in a few cases but the definition holds for most cases.

For both a sport and a game, you can win, somehow. With a sport, it's more of a physical activity, such as,
baseball
dance
tennis
football
soccer
gymnastics
With games, it's not as much as a physical activity, like
chess
checkers
chinese checkers
I think that darts can be a game, or a sport, because your not really doing physical activity, but at the same time you are. You can just call that 50/50. =)
Hope I helped!
