Alright, we are in Vegas and we are bored. We need something to do tonight... that does not involve gambling or a super expensive show. Let's keep it under $30 each. No food, we ate already.

Also, we want to do something inside because its freezing!!!

Thanks!

Bored in Vegas is an oxymoron! How can you be bored in Vegas? And under $30? My only advice to you is to walk around the strip, put on a coat since you're freezing and with a drink in hand, take in the free outdoor shows and go back to your room and do what comes naturally. Pick up a tourist book and read about things to do. With SO MUCH around you, you cannot possibly get bored in Vegas. I've been there MANY times and have NEVER gotten bored. Not once. Check out the websites below.

Friday night on Fremont has two free bands. If your on the strip the Duece(bus) is $2 each way or get a $5 24 hour pass for each. It's a great light show up and down the strip also. The 24 hour pass is good for any of the bus system.

The Belagio Fountains, catch the free shuttle from Harrah's to Rio. They have a great show about every hour in the casino. Check out the Belliago lobby the are know for their decorations. Heck, LV is decorated great for Christmas.

All of these are free with exceptions for the bus.

If you are bored in my city, you need to get a life or go home. Go Downtown and watch the Fremont Street Experience - free. Sit and just watch people - free. Go to Orleans just off the Strip, west Excalibur and see a movie or go bowling or play bingo (minimal cost).

There is Madame Trouseau wax museum at Paris, Goggenheim museum at Venetian. Go to Circus Circus and join the atmosphere of playing arcade games. Go to Mirage and see the Secret Garden.

Join the players club at each casino and receive souvenirs.

Sounds like you did not plan your trip to Vegas. Sorry that happened.

First I will say your parents aren't very thoughtful are they. Bringing you two to Vegas and just leaving you in your room while they gamble. Adventure Dome at Circus Circus MGM lion habitat Mandalay Bay Shark Reef M&M World next to the MGM Grand Stratosphere rides on top of the tower (not for small kids or weak hearts) Animitronic shows at Caesars Forum Shops Roller Coaster outside NYNY Bodies the exhiibit at the Luxor Titanic: The Artifacts Exhibition at the Luxor Motion Rides at Excalibur Tournament of Kings at the Exaclibur Mac King Comedy Show at Harrahs Lance Burton Magic Show at Monte Carlo Many shows are kid friendly - check each show on this site for age restrictions. There are lots of good cheap shows. Watch Nathan Burton Comedy Magic or Mac King Comedy Magic. They're not as cool as Extreme Magic with Dirk Arthur, but they're worth watching (especially if the alternative is being bored).

I will be going to Vegas for the 16th time in 2 weeks and have never been bored there. Pick up a What's On and read thru it.

Get the 24 hour bus pass from the double decker bus, ride it around, staop when you see something cool...explore all the different casinos. Visit the M&M store, see the free show there

Go to coca Cola, and get the $7 "sampler of all the coke products in the world" (just buy one for the both of you)

I`ll be there again (sigh) for my company X-mas party in 3 weeks (they pay for all of it)

Go over to the Luxor. They have a package for under $30 that includes the "King Tut" tour (not the real one of course), a 4D movie that is really fun, and something else that I can remember.
