Ok so my computer has been really warped and messed up, the screen has been turning yellow and vertical red/blue lines are runnign down it

i replaced the monitor but nothing happened

what now?

Also it freezes alot as well


is this because of the grahpics because it worked fine until this problem came around

You need to replace your video card. Easy and cheaper than buying a new monitor.

This happen to me...I ended up going as far as reinstalling Windows and everything with no result...it ended up being my video card....just pulling it out, blowing the dust out and replugging it in fixed it.

If you have a video card and not integrated / onboard graphics...try unplugging the video card and re-seating it.

If that doesn't work....see if you can borrow a different video card from another computer or a friend....or buy a really cheep 16 MB PCI video card and use it to test the video card.

Hi. Sounds like a messed up GPU (Graphics Processing Unit, or graphics card). Try a download of the latest drivers from the manufactures website first, then try a new cable.

If you're using the on board graphics then get a pci graphics card or replace the one you're using.

I bet is simply the Video card. Try replacing your video card or cleaning it.
