How can I disable the automatic screen switching while browsing?

When I'm browsing using my Internet Explorer (with multiple windows open) and I go to window 1 and click on something and then go to window 2, it automatically switches back to window 1 when it's already loaded the page fully. It's really irritating!

I am not sure, upgrading to IE7 will give you a much better experience surfing the Internet.

What is probably happening is that the page that pops back is updating ads and putting itself to the front. You might go into Tools / Internet Options and killing some other loading things - animations, etc.
