No. There may be...There may have been. But so far, no life has been found by any of our scientific rovers or instruments...

LIFE ON MARS?

People have always liked to believe that life is possible somewhere else in the universe.Although missions to Mars attempt to discover the history of the planet, its formation and its geological activity (such as volcanoes and Marsquakes), probes are also sent there to find life.

There are many reasons for and against life existing on Mars. Here they are:

AGAINST:

1. Mars' thin atmosphere is made up mainly of Carbon Dioxide (95.32%). This is the poisonous gas that also makes up most of Venus' atmosphere.
2.There is very little water on Mars. Only 0.03% of its atmosphere contains droplets of water.
3.Mars is known as a "self-sterilising" planet. Its surface is saturated by ultra-violet radiation by the Sun.

FOR :
1.Mars does have water in its atmosphere. It may only be a small amount, but could provide life to certain living organisms that need very little water. Also, water in the atmosphere and strong evidence that water once flowed around the planet, suggest that there may be a possibility of liquid water deep under the surface.
2.Missions to Mars show the planet to be made up of many rocks and pebbles (more evidence of water!) similar to ones on Earth.
3.A face and two hearts have been discovered on Mars. People believed that the face could have been created by advanced beings!
4.If Mars did have water, it will also have had a thicker atmosphere.
5.A piece of rock from Mars, which landed on Earth when a meteor hit Mars and scattered its rocks, contains signs of life. Small fossils and evidence of a basic once-living micro-organism provided the strongest proof yet that life did once exist on Mars billions of years ago

it depends.
if there is life, it would have to sustain very cold temperatures, harsh winds, water, and even conflict with others (living in a pack, getting help when in distress).
Next, there is a small atmosphere so breathing would be near impossible.there is a lot of CO2 in the air so plants would have used some and left oxygen.plus if they were around long enough there would possibly be primitive technology & tools and maybe social activity (like government) if they had evolved for the billions of years the planets been here.
also,if life existed, it would need more life to eat., if we found no life, what do 'they' eat? we would easily find plants growing on a lifeless, cold, red planet. so it would be very hard to life on mars .
Hope this clears it up

So far there is no evidence of that. But the fact that water ice exists on the planet means that liquid water may have existed there in the past, so Mars probes are always looking for evidence of current or past organic activity.

Geez, you should go work for NASA. That way, they'd have been able to save all that money they spent sending probes to Mars to answer this question, because YOU would have told them to just ask on Yahoo!Answers.

You really do totally need help.

In the past probably, but not now. That's what the probs were sending up are looking for. Personally I think there not looking deep enough for the evidence.

Scientist say "that they have found strong evidence that life may exist today on Mars, hidden away in caves and sustained by pockets of water."

Currently, no. In the past, there might have been, but only microbial life. There's no evidence there were ever any "little green men."

possibly--thats what we humans are sending robots and thinking about sending people to find out since we need to look for a second home
