I went to a concert including Lacuna Coil opening for POD, and ill ninio with Soulfly, but I wonder, WHY they just don't sing a song or two togheter at the end? that would be awesome, I saw a muchmusic event with many artists and I thought it may be a good idea for Avril Lavigne to sing a song with My Chemical Romance!! why wouldn't she do that?

sometimes they have to be close friends to do such a thing. it requires a lot of rehersals and time together. if they aren't friends already its gonna be hard asking them to do a song together.

Nine Inch nails sang a few songs with David Bowie. The opening band singing with the main feature is done at some concerts, but I agree it should happen more.

omg i love my chemical romance.
it would be awesome if Avril Lavigne opened for them.
Ill Nino and P.O.D are awesome too.
i think the reason they dont play together is because i guess the band opening is just of "lesser importance" at that gig.
all the spotlights are on the main event in other words.

Sometimes they do. When I saw the Dresden Dolls they performed the last song together with the 2 opening bands.
