My great aunt (who is 78 years old) asked me to find our how much it is worth - she found it in an old sock drawer. It's a confederate currency bill.

Since 1867 is two years after the Civil War ended, I am going to assume that either the date of issue isn't 1867 or it isn't a Confederate note.
Please look again and see if there is another date on it between 1861 and 1865. It would also be good to know the complete name of the issuing bank, city of issue, and the name of the printer of the note (at bottom center). It's probably a pretty good find, but we need more info to evaluate it properly.

It's worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

Ebay has many old currency items up for bid.

You will get a good idea what it's worth by entering the description of the $20.00 dollar bill, and seeing what others like it are being sold for.

Bear in mind, Ebay is an aution, and no two similar items get sold for the same amount.

If you brought it to a coin dealer, they may give you a lot less than what it would sell for on Ebay.

I have a rare one hundred dollar bill that I've seen selling on Ebay for anywhere from four hundred dollars to seven hundred dollars.

The first thing I would do is th make sure that it is authentic and not counterfeit. If it is real then take it to a coin shops and get several estimates on the value. You may want to go in and say that you are looking to purchase a bill like the one you have, that way you can get an idea of what they sell for not just what the coin shop will give you for the bill.

Confederate money is worth the value of the paper it is printed on. Nothing more. In other words, it's trash.

Last time I checked, Confederate money had no intrinsic value.
