Now I think I'm pretty normal usually, but as I sit here at 3:30am, eating chips and dip, and swilling red bull..my son has snatched my bed, so it's either the top bunk or my computer chair for me if I finally want to sleep, and I wonder, does anyone actually always have a normal life as we think of it, or does everyone have their little quirks

In some ways....you need to decide what is normal and good for YOUR life. You can decide that being a jerk is normal and makes you happy and in that way, it's normal and good for YOU. Looking at others' lives is where the questioning comes in. Some behavior is not acceptable to 'everyone else' and therefore is considered bad or not normal. I'm not trying to be deep. I'm saying that one person may be a hermit and never watch tv or do anything but shop online and do puzzles all day long their entire lives. They aren't hurthing anyone and we may not consider that a good life...but it's fine. That said, if you are looking to God for answers, if you are not trying to live as close to a Biblical life as possible, or turned away from God...you are not living a 'good life'

I expect everyone has their little quirks. My life seems fairly normal to me, but then it is my life. Some of my relatives do not think I am normal and would rather not be related to me so perhaps they are the ones leading normal lives. Depends what is normal really.

Snow white. But it seems she gave up all those dwarves for some sort of prince, then had to die first. So, that would be no, then. And you have a bunk? Lucky sod....

is there any one person you can point to and define them as being the epitome of normalness?
and even if there was they would be the only normal person thus making them abnormal for being the only normal person and us normal for all being abnormal but since they are abnormal for being normal then they are normal as well because like all us normal people they are abnormal.
thus normal does not exist.
