Everyone, let me tell ya something... I cannot generalize and say that all of the illegals have "much better qualities", but I can, from my personal experience, say, that they have very good reasons for breaking the law by staying here illegally. I have a MA degree that did not give me a living back home. Here, I do landscaping and I pay all the taxes. I came legally, but it is not easy to keep that status because of the harshness of the law. Price: I am seen as a criminal because I was born in the country where there is no future for me. I have not seen my family for years. My beloved grandma and my dog passed away meanwhile... I could not be there. Staying here and having to go through all that is still worthed more than going home and living in the post-communist society which is not very different from what it was in 1989. My boyfriend never went to school, because of the war in his country. And he has the biggest heart ever (I am just teaching him how to read). His dad was shot in front of his eyes when he was 4. He remembers it. Never had a toy. Birthday presents - chicken soup. Just an example. If it was not for meeting me, he would have continued living in his simple macho world. Just as his friends. And all other illegals. It is not their fault, it is their country's. If you are sending them back home to improve their country's politics, you are very naive. Those countries are not like US. It is more complicated than that. Corruption. No justice. They know why they do not want to go back. Americans have no idea about what it is like. If you want to have an idea, get out. Travel. Educate yourself, and educate them. That's the only civilized way of common survival. I just gave you two real examples. Two out of I do not know how many millions right now. You may like it or not, but just give it a good thought. All immigrants bring their culture with them, the good stuff and the bad stuff too. That's what made your country what it is today. Sooner or later, the illegals will become legals, at if not themselves, then through their children. If you deported them, you would change the pattern of the world and their lives. Towards worse. Who gives you the right to do that?

A bad person thinks only of themselves and what they want, even if it will harm or upset someone else. Sometimes, bad people even take pleasure in the knowledge that their actions have had some sort of negative effect on others.
A good person tries their best to make sure that their words and actions only have a positive or neutral effect on everyone else, and they take pleasure in the thought of making others happy.
