You don't need to initiate a lawsuit to get paid. I am sure Lowe's would want this to go away if your pressed on.
1. Send your demand in writing to the Store Manager. Send the letter US Mail certified, return receipt requested.
2. Copy the office of the President of the company. Send that US Mail certified return receipt requested.
3. Note the address of the State Labor Commission in your state and if you want, file a complaint.
If you take the time to do this, I am sure, Lowe's will cut you a check.

You are legally entitled to be paid for the time you worked. Talk to the manager, and ask if you have to go to the state labor board to get the pay you are legally entitled to. That should get him moving. If it doesn't, go to your state website, find the number of the state labor board, and give them a call and tell them about the situation. You don't need a lawyer or a lawsuit for this. The state labor board will contact Lowe's, and that will get their attention.

I can't believe a corporation like Lowes would fail to pay for two days work. You need to contact their corporate office and talk to someone in HR. I assume you have proof that you worked the two days?
Now from a different perspective, you were probably training those two days and cost the company money in training time. I doubt you did anything productive those two days. If I were in your shoes, I would drop it. You took the job, wasted their time training, then dumped them.
