impressions are quite different than voiceover characters.
Lambchop and Bart Simpson and video game characters are not impressions. There was no Bart Simpson before Nancy Cartwright.
So far, only rio can do an impression.
Ann Coulter? I'm intrigued.
RoVale - too true. I get annoyed when I hear women V.O. boy's voices in radio ads. I'd rather hear a real child bungle his lines.

YES. SHARI LEWIS WAS WONDERFUL:
"Lamb Chop is a fictional character, more precisely a fictional sheep, who is a sock puppet created by comedian and ventriloquist Shari Lewis. In 1957, Lamb Chop, a ewe, first appeared with Lewis on Hi Mom, a local morning show that aired on WNBC in New York.
Lamb Chop has been described as a "6-year-old girl, very intuitive and very feisty, a combination of obstinacy and vulnerability...you know how they say fools rush in where wise men fear to go? Well, Lamb Chop would rush in, then scream for help."
During the 1960s, Shari Lewis had her own musical-comedy network television show. "
I remember Lambchop and Shari Lewis vividly from when I was a kid.

The problem with women doing little boy voices is that they sound like women trying to imitate little boys. I know there are women who do famous cartoon characters but they aren't really convincing to me. That's because they're trying to sound like children by making their voices squeaky. I almost never hear children talk like that in real life.

Jennifer Hale is one of the best voice actresses out there. She has voiced from top-quality videogames to animated films. I remember a particular videogame, where she did such a superb voice, imho, (a blend of softness, sexiness and classiness), that I found myself reloading the game just to hearing her dialogs once more.

Troll Shark: Well, I am less ignorant now, didn't know that...but I sure enjoyed that lady's voice.

Yes, there are many that do. Ask the first person mentioned there are some that are the voices of animated characters. Many comedians come to my mind.

Always. Big Idea's Lisa Vischier does it well.
For some reason, it's not popular with young women?
