On my high-school hockey team, I chose the number 33 (yes i am a goalie), since it is my first year playing people tend to ask me stupid questions like "how does it feel to play hockey?" and "where'd you get your equipment?". but today the starting goalie asked "who is #33?" i replied "I am". But then he asked "Why did you pick that number, do you know any players who wear that number"

so, I now know that Patrick Roy wore #33, any one else?

Some players who wore #33 at some point in their careers besides Patrick Roy, (even for a short period of time) would be Brian Boucher, Sean Burke, Jimmy Carson, Anson Carter, Kris Draper, Ray Ferraro, Jeff Hackett, Al Iafrate, Marty McSorley, Fredrik Modin, Ziggy Palffy, Marc Savard and Zarley Zalapski. Some are sort of infamous though...

I can do the Rangers for you.

Ranger keepers who wore 33 are Gilles Gratton, Milan Hnilicka, Jamie McLellan and Bob Froese.

Other Ranger 33's were Andre Dore, Dave Karpa, Mike Mottau, Bruce Driver and Marc Savard.

Most famous 33 in Ranger history was Tony Amonte. He wore # 3 in college and wore # 33 when he joined the Rangers in '91 until he was traded to Chicago in '94.
