My sister is 19 years old, and I have absolutely no idea what to get her for Christmas.

I know what I DON'T want to get her. Body lotions, DVDs, CDs, gift cards, candies... Other people already get her those things, and I've made the mistake of getting her such things previous years---only to find them in her closet months later.

I want to get her something she can use. But I'm also on a budget. I'm only 16 and my income is minimal....

So I'm not that close with her. I don't know TOO much about her. But here's some info that may help:

-She travels 40-ish minutes every day to work, so her car is her life.

-She's not super girly at all, but she isn't a tom-boy. She appreciates feminine things, but she doesn't wear jewelery.

-She has a laptop, which she uses primarily to talk to her friends.

I can't think of any hobbies she has... I'm at a loss. I really don't know what to get her.

It would be great if you could help at all, any ideas. Anything...

Well I'm pretty interesting and different....LOL

Maybe a favorite magazine subscription,or possible you could pool your funds with one or two others and purchase an inexpensive i-pod or maybe some nice headphones for the car...

Well, assuming that she listens to music while she's in the car, and that she has an iPod/mp3 player, you should get her one of those tape cassettes that go into the car and can plug into the iPod/mp3 player. That way she doesn't have to fuss with the radio and listen to whatever she wants. You don't need to get the ones that iPod sells, but there's some that are like 15 dollars and work perfectly fine.

Or, if she's the type of girl that keeps to herself, maybe a really nice journal. Something with a leather exterior, perhaps? And, if you have the money, a nice pen to go with it, with her name engraved.

Bed sheets might work as well.
Sounds odd, I know, but people seem to like it.

A good car organizer or good accessories (cup, cellphone holder etc) would be nice. If she cleans her car herself, you could get her those kinds of supplies.

I suggest you go for Ipod, Mp3 player for her car, or Webcam for her laptop.
