If you have an idea to improve an existing product, what is the best way to go about selling it?

I believe I have a few great ideas but dont know how to move forward with them without just giving them away

The BEST way is to patent the idea, then get a prototype made, then sales-pitch it to the proper company for that product.

There are various levels of cost involved with each of those things. You can try to go cheap but generally you take chances equal to the cheapness. Im not saying go expensive. Im just saying that you will need to balance your funds against how much you want to chance it.

Or do like Im doing and plan on winning the lottery so you can hire someone to put your ideas into practice. :)
