I would say it has little to do with intelligence. It's being blissfully ignorant of the darker side of people.

No its not stupid or ignorant it just means that the bad things of the world (ex. bad experiences or people) haven't changed you. Naive is not a bad thing it just means that you'll believe in something even though most people wont.
To my opinion anyway. but then again i probably am a little naive too.

It means clueless, or ignorant if you want to be harsh, but in an innocent way. A young child is naive, but not necessarily stupid.

Neither really, it means innocence or lacking in the ways of the world - inexperienced. To a certain extent it means ignorance but not in a derogatory way. It's the opposite of sophisticated rather than being the opposite of clever.

Naive means that you are overly trusting. It means that you trust others whom you probably should not trust. There is a connotation of being a little ignornant, in that you would not be trusting others for information if you had that information yourself. But the emphasis is on being overly trusting, not ignorance.

It means neither. It means to accept everything at face-value, believing what you're told. For example, it's naive to believe someone is selling a real gold bracelet at a subway station or at the bus station for a ridiculously low-price, say 20 bucks.

If one is naive, it means that one is inexperienced and therefore unwise and perhaps innocent.

It doesn't really mean stupid. It could mean ignorant in a way...

A person who is unaware of things.

It is usually said of a girl who is not sexually experienced, but it covers a lot of other things as well

no, not necessarily. It does mean that one is unlearned in worldly things. Innocent, not having a clue, ...
Some things aren't worth knowing when they steal your innocence away.
