Where is the fuel filter located on a 99 Eclipse RS?

It's either on the firewall on the passenger side under the battery tray or under the car in front of the fuel tank on the passenger side.
I seem to recall that one year they put it under the windshield washer bottle which was located on the firewall near the drivers side.
