Like an ugly person has actually learnt too be more confident in themselves. where as a pretty person is consistently striving for the unattainable perfection. and still feeeling self concious.

I guess that depends on what you see as beauty.
I start with the smile and work my way from there.

That's a good point. I believe that there's 3 categories of "pretty" people. The insecure ones, who pretend to be insecure, say "I'm ugly", etc. to get attention. There are those who, as you mentioned, are trying to be perfect. Yet again, there are those who actually aren't secure.
Come to think of it, I noticed that the less fortunate people can also be insecure, especially when young. However, there are those who learn to be confident as they become fixed on making something of themselves that stands out.
Overall, in my humble opinion, I think that this is all subjective as everyone's different.
Now, if you forward people past 40, then it's quite possible for the pretty people to become wildly insecure when their looks start dissipating. The ugly people, on the other hand, are used to it, thus they won't be nearly as insecure as the former.

No not necessarily. I think I'm Ugly that's why my picture isn't with my Avatar. Also I have other reasons! my yahoo blog will explain that! Some especially tv people are obsessed with their looks.
Although I know I'm ugly if I'm going to drama theatre.. I try not to look ugly unless the character I'm playing is suppose to be ugly!

yes! I totally agree! Often we all have some kind of personality conflict somewhere in our life's journey.
When we just go on and on and on about it, I wanna bash my head against a wall. what a buzz kill.Surely we can find some substance in life without being a Drama Queen.

yes but i also believe that there is a lot of attention seeking there with the ones who are prettier and act for attention and with the not as prettier girls they tend to use that as a musk plz don't get me wrong but it's not always what you think

yup.......average people spend time working on everything about themselves whereas pretty people spend way too much time worrying only about their looks
