Actually it very well shouldve been Michigan. Comparing the one loss teams, Michigans one loss came against the number one team in the country. A game in which Michigan couldve won just as easily, the game was back and forth for four quarters. Florida lost by ten to a team that was ranked much lower at the time in Auburn, who ended up losing two games.

I don't think it mattered that they had 2 extra weeks in the season. Florida just showed up the better team that day and being an Ohio State fan, I'm not too proud or stupid to admit that they deserved the National Title last year. However, I am going to say that if Ohio State played like they did every game in the 2006 season the outcome of the game would of been totally different. Not necessarily a winning score, but the game wouldn't of been a blow out. A good team shouldn't need 2 extra weeks of gaming... a good team should still be good during practice. Ohio State let the Big Ten and their fans down.

Pete Carroll whined when he didn't get into the championship game so why can't Urban Meyers. The question shouldn't have been should Florida been in the game. Should Ohio State been there. We all know the answer to that one. Go play some Big 12, SEC, Pac-10 schools and then when you have run the gauntlet you can see what playing in a real conference is like. Even the some of the mid-major conferences.

yeah we should have been in the title game and proved it , why would a team in michigan go when they never won their conference ,florida won their conference then just crushed the so called #1 ohio state team , yeah michigan lost to the #1 team for their 1 loss but obviously it showed that ohio state was overated and wasnt really a #1 team anyway, so quit crying you got spanked and embarassred and by asking a queston as stupid as this a year later makes you look like a complete idiot because the gators showed everyone who the best team was last year . GO GATORS!!!!!!!!

I Bet Georgia without playing in the SEC Championship game plays Ohio State in NC game. The SEC made this BCS to start with and they will cry for Georgia to be in it even though they were crushed 2 times by 2 bad SEC teams.

why are you so bitter over an Ohio State loss? Michigan had their chance. it's not Florida's fault Michigan can't beat Ohio State.

Absolutely. They pounded Ohio State so they were obviously better than the Buckeyes.

As a Buckeye fan I say no with the end results. But you can't deny the dominance. Although Urban cried his way into the game.
