I have tried putting the volume high to clicking the picture of the speaker @ the bottom right corner on my main screen. To check if they are all on. I see the green level going up & down but nothing is coming out of the speakers. They were working fine yesterday.

Same thing happened to me too.....
See if your speakers are turned on. Then plug them into another computer if you can. If it still dosn't work maybe your PC is under warranty. If it is contact service provider.
Try to unplug all cords from computer and shutting down, then plugging back in.

You can try this. It might work. I have had this to work on a lot of computers. If you are using windows 7 Vista also, I think. click start <> in the search box type in audio. From the list click on <> Find and fix audio playback problems.

-- Check to see if your speakers are plugged in correctly.

-- Check to see if you have the correct driver installed (use dxdiag if you have Windows... Start -> Run -> dxdiag)

--Make sure it's compatible with your OS and your hardware.

In either case, you need to check your manual for the proper instructions.

Possibly, your sound card or your speakers dead.

If your speakers are USB, definitely, you need to replace both sound card and speakers.

If your speakers were in classical audio jack, you need a USB speakers.

check to C if they R in the correct jack.

go to sound properties and see if somthing is muted ... reseat connections ..
