i miss the innocence i had in childhood but im happy with the freedom i've gained.

How could you? Can't remember who we were at 5, or 10, and I sure don't wish to be the person I was at 18. Each stage of growth we learn more to help us get to the next stage and help us become better people. Hopefully. I love the woman I am today and everything I have been through has made me who I am and I would never go back and change it or go back in time and stay stagnet in a stage of development and say ( This is who I am and who I will be for the rest of my life)

I do, but I know I changed for a reason and if that was for good then I won't be what I used to be. The thing I miss the most is when I was a kid when you don't know problems only the ones where they steal your lunch or barbie!

Yes. When I was little I was such a clean freak, and I always got perfect grades. As I got older, those things started not to matter as much to me. I wish I still had the motivation to get straight A's, but I've grown up and there are other things that I consider important.

I miss not having worries when I was younger.....but all that growing up, I hated it! I don't think I'm where I need to be and I am definitely not where I want to be....I can assure you that I am not who I want to be right noe, so I don't miss who I used to be, because, I am, in a sense, still growing. Everyday we grow....

Of course, I reminisce all the time. Its amazing how when I was younger I expressed myself and said what I felt no matter what people thought and I had not a care in the world, I was so. . . . free! I think the older you get, the more you conform. Its kinda sad and unfortunate, but thats life. . .

yes.... before my head injury things came so easy for me...
and now they are quite a struggle. But...I think I learned some very wise lessons..so in a way I miss the old me but I hope to continue to embrace ...the now me
