There is only one way I can masturbate that I have ever gotten pleasure out of, and that is using the shower head, adjusting it so that it is on full pressure, and pointing it straight at my... place. I'm sure I could get the same feeling from a vibrator, but I'm too embarrassed to ask my parents to get me one (its the only way i could buy one).
Anyway, what I'm asking is whether or not it is dangerous for my health to be doing this, since I have hot water under high pressure entering my v to the a, and sometimes my urethra hurts/is puffy/i have trouble peeing, but it always goes away after a day or less. I have been doing this for a while and nothing bad has happened.
Sorry if this is too much information, but you guys are the only people I can ask this too because I'm too embarrassed to ask anyone else...

Maybe I didn't phrase it right but I have no intention of asking my parents that at all... lol
Thanks for the considerate answers everyone, these are really helping.

Why not buy a vibrator? Most stores that sell them the owners/cashiers whatever are very open minded. They don't judge and the could help you find the right one. If you absolutely cant just use cooler water, don't over do it. Remember its quality not quantity. Edited to add you don't necessarily need a sex toy vibrator. Anything that vibrates will work. Back massagers are easy enough to get and they aren't embarrassing to buy

The method that you are using is a popular type with many other women...as you stated a "Vibrator" would be better for you, (less irritation to the urethra) but you stated you can't buy one? Just curious why you couldn't...they are available at most any store, they are purchased for muscle pain, thus you shouldn't be embarrassed purchasing one. Also know that if you have a swimming pool or go to a swimming pool, you can put your privates up against the water inlet and achieve the same effect, my girl friend used to do this at my pool all the time, lol! Good luck and remember to always be safe with what ever you venture into...

No I don't think that it's dangerous. You might want to use less "hot" water and make it just warm. Because I'm sure that that is the reason why you're having pain in your urethra. By the way if you have a hand held massager that looks like it could possibly be used then as long as you keep it clean then you could use it as a vibrator. Good Luck.

You are fine doing it this way, actually it feels great HUH. I would lower the heat of the water for sure, and the reason why you are puffy there after wards is because you get blood flowing to this area like a man and it makes the area engorge. I had sex one time and I was puffy for 4-5 days.......it's all good Sweetie.

It's the "Mr. Fix-it" in me that suggests this. Instead of just full force pressure at point blank range, try a "back-and-forth" spraying motion sometime. It might give you less of a battered, puffy feeling afterwards? Life is about rial and error after all!

Not dangerous at usual water pressures for showers and taps.
High pressure? Do you turn the shower head to "needles"
It _IS_ possible to irritate your urethra, and it can lead to the sensation of a burning pain if you urinate - similar to a urinary infection. You can obtain a urinary alkalinizing agent (Ural or Citravescent or similar) to help relieve pain if this is a problem.

As long as the water isn't too hot, using water pressure is about the same as using a vibrator.
This is the safest sex you can have, so have fun and DON'T ask mom and dad for a vibrator, they will be mortified!

I would say it's not that dangerous to yourself.. but maybe you have the water on too hot?? Damage to your urethra is never a good thing perhaps you're burning yourself.

You should get a "personal massager" from walmart or walgreens. You dont need an id to buy one. Its just a vibrator with a different name.

Plenty of people use this method, whether or not they admit to it. Just don't do it every day if you use really hot water. There is a slight risk of an UTI, but not much.
