As others have stated you are able to open one with an adult. However if your looking for an ATM/debit card you will not be able to get one til your 16 or 17 again you'll have to have an adult on the account until your at least 18 (some states are higher)

It's possible to open one when you're 13 seconds old. Will need an adult unless it's a non interest earning account.

Ask for the Christmas Club account either through your parent's bank or credit union. It actually yields a pretty fair interest rate.

Sure it's possible. You just have to open a joint account with one of your parents/guardian and it'll be open to you. They'll give you an ATM card and a VISA. You'll have total access to everything. Write your own checks, use your own debit card. Just get one of your parents to make a joint account with you.

Most major banks will let you open a joint account with adult. They do it this way so interest can be reported for tax purpose.
