trucks Cars
1. Ford Ford
2. Dodge Chrysler
3. Chevy Chevy
Truck: Ford are all around the best. But a Dodge has a better power train, a Chevy is for those that buy into the Hype.
Cars: Ford is more reliable, they have fewer models on the Consumer Reports Buyers Guide models to avoid list then Chevrolet. Chrysler is ugly. Chevy has one of the lowest reliability records of the big three manufactures. Yes there are a few exceptions, but over all poorly build and prone to brake down. This is not my opinion, it is in the newest Consumers Reports Buyers Guide that just came in the mail today.

Trucks:
1. Chevy
2. Ford
3. Dodge-Just because they have tranny problems.

Cars:
1. Chevy-because it's GM which is an umbrella company for a lot of great brands. I'm partial to Saturn with a great experience.
2. Ford-Even though I hate Ford. Everywhere I look is a damn Mustang. Ugh. They don't age well either and look ugly.
3. Chrysler-it's reputation is in the gutter at this point.

I went with a 04 chevy z71 truck. At my work we have abou 75 company vehicles and our own garage which a friend of mine runs. We have fords chevys and a few dodges. The dodge vans and cars have transmission and electrical problems. The ford triton v8s suck gas and are weak. When compaired to the chevy 5.3 and 5.7s .The parts are outrageously high for the fords. Especially brake parts that dont last very long. The ford cars just dont measure up to the chevys they are auctioning them off to get rid of them costing us too much to keep on the road. The chevys or gm products just give much better service. We have detailed service records on all our cars trucks and vans. The difference would honestly amaze you. The numbers and records dont lie and thats a fact! Just callin it like I see it.
