If I were 60, I'd treat the 20 year old like my child and work together to try and get the he** outta there so I can get "my child" back to finish her life in civilization. How would I cope? As any dad would. Always thinking DAD. Good question. Oh and welcome back Wally Man. Missed ya.

I would use some of the natural resources. Like wood to make a raft. Or fruit for food. I would also stay with the other person it doesn't matter how old you are in that kind of situation.

Considering he would only be 10 years old I would have to train him from day 1 so when we got rescued he could treat a woman right.

Well let's see.
64-40=24, she would probably be recently graduated from college, professional, smart a**, or Goth and into rock or hip/hop music and I would have to feed her to the sharks or trade her for goods with any locals, just to get rid of her.

Well since he would only be 13, maybe I would still have a chance to form his opinion on things like good music, how to catch and make good food, how to build good shelter, how to have good manners and by then he would be 18 and then I'd just marry him and like Suzie Q says..."I say, where do you want to build our love nest?" this would be VERY serious
I guess I would look for some natives on theisland that might adopt her
then I might scan the oceans for sharks and think of using her as bait
