According to Obama, his childhood experience gives him a better feel for international issues than most candidates gain from official trips to other nations.

No, but then again the front runners for the Dem ticket haven't actually DONE anything to merit being Pres. anyway.

Showing up to work on occasion and signing some papers, just doesn't cut it for me.

Given the lack of knowledge of other countries shown by, oh, say, George Bush, then anyone who had experience at an early age of the fact that we are pretty much all the same under the skin MIGHT have some insights that a rather more insular upbringing might deny one. If you remember yourself at the age of 10, you were starting to think about yourself in the world, and how the adult world works. I'd say it potentially could be very educative, though only one of many factors making up the adult he has become. Since there is no evidence that he is a Muslim and a lot that he is a Christian ( http://www.snopes.com/politics/obama/muslim.asp) I'd say that the claims of the noter above could be dismissed as ignorance or mischief-making.

Depends on the country... See he was over in another country in a weird get up outfit and Was singing ALA LALA LAAAA LLALAALALAA. While the rest were getting a real education at least some what real of an education and was actually having a life.

Of course it did.
He and the other 10 yr olds were in on all the discussions and made all the decisions,
after which they probably went to the nearest cat house for some entertainment.

No i don't think so. oh the otter hand Hillery has gone on vacation to to her countries and same there. No the perfect Democrat with those qualifications is Gov. Bill Robertson and if they don't recognize him for that then the Democrats are racist, don't yo think? beside Dennis k and Biden have more experience than the rest hands down. How sad that they wold over look that. Take care.

I say besides being way too liberal for my vote he's also way too in touch with the international flavor of the day...I want a president that looks out for America!!!

It's possible, but if he indeed got an "edge" from his experience it would be a very small one at best.
