i'm using a gprs mobile connection to connect my laptop, can anyone suggest how to increase the transfer speed

using airtel gprs connection.

512 mb ram. 1.75 ghz processor speed.

any help greatly appreciated.

Ask Air Tel whether they offer something faster.

to have the optimum speeds or better, you can also hooked on a dedicated cables broadband. With the specs given, its surely increased your transaction.
