i usually take zyrtec everyday but i am out of the prescription right now and my pharmacy is closed..i know i could take Chlrotrimeton (sp) during the beginning of pregnancy, but that stuff made everything worse when i took it last time.

Can i take a tylenol sinus or something like that? All the drainage is making me sick.

According to my Ob's list of approved OTC meds, you can take Sudafed, the 30mg ones and you can take 2 at a time (total ling 60mg).

Good luck!

Funny, in a month Zyrtec will be OTC. Your insurance will stop covering it. There will be a Zyrtec analogue which will be prescription only, but more than likely insurance won't cover it. Zyrtec OTC will be expensive until the generics come out. Depending on your situation you might want to switch to Claritin OTC or prescription fexofenadine (Allegra).
You can take tylenol. I'm just not too sure about sudafed. Claritin is a similar drug to Zyrtec, but I'm not quite sure if you can take it while pregnant.

acetaminophen (tylenol) is safe to take while pregnant... never had a migrain so not sure if it'll help... but if you go to webmd.com they have a lot of helpful answers there
