I have a friend who stole some money from a friend of mine and got caught. Was ordered to pay it back by a court and never did. She left the state and got another job working with a loan company... could I get in trouble for e-mailing her boss?

if you are doing it for the right reasons get a copy of the court records and just mail them to the boss

You may have problem in sending that e-mail.

You should give her some time. after she earned some money, your friend can asked her to pay back.

As court sentenced her to pay back, it would be a minor case; if you don't happy, inform the court and the court should take her back.
