viscosity is not caused by internal friction.. viscosity is the measure of a sustained ability to resist friction at higher temperatures without breaking down its lubrication ability.. viscosity or a substances' ability to maintain body under pressure is created by thickness to liquid ratio.. I think you could call it toughness..
