ok well im a 16 year old girl.
and i am really materalistic and girley too!

i know this sounds kinda lame but im asking for a pink Nintendo DS. but they are soo cool and have really good graphics. and im getting this fashion designer game for it and you can make and design your own clothes and set up fashion shows. its soooo fun. and they also have a ton of other cool games like hannah montana, high school musical, jam sessions, bratz, brain age, and tons of other really fun games. and it comes in light pink so it looks totally girly and sooo not nerdy. and you can also chat with people on them.

they only cost $130 dollars and the games are anywhere from $10 to $30.

trust me get it, you wont regret it!!!

Honey , first off being such a material girl will not win you any awards in the long run but why don't you just ask him for gift cards to your favorite stores so you can go buy clothes for yourself. Your going to have to put one or two items on there that he can wrap up for you that's just the way grandparents are. he will understand about the clothes but good luck anyway.

Hope you have a really nice Christmas

Ah mate, I've been through pretty much the same problem. Their was a girl I quite liked through college but my friends were the rich shallow types (there not anymore). But yeah long story short, I didnt go out with a girl that I'd liked for a long time (she liked me too). So yeah I regretted it for quite a while. So just do what you got to and don't be swayed by others.

Why don't you ask your grandpa to tell you about his life at your age. I'm sure you will find his stories uplifting and fullfilling. Not all great Christmas gifts come from the MALL!

You want a nice pair of hiking shoes, like Montrail Hardrock/Vitesse or Merrell Passage Ventilator. They look spiffy, and you can go a long way with them because they make walking so easy. Like you're just floating along.

For a teenage girl, cashmere sweaters are always nice. But you might also try to find a matching-color sweater in ragg wool. You put the ragg wool sweater outside of the cashmere one. That way you have two layers of wool around you on the cold days, and the ragg wool sweater can take the cat claws and the snags without looking bad. Those things might hurt the cashmere if it were on the outside.

If you decide to go hiking next summer you should wear a hat, so you might ask for a nice cotton fishing hat with a wide brim to keep the sun off your face and neck. And to carry things, get a backpack. You probably already have one for your school books, but the serious backpackers have bigger ones so they can pack their camp stoves and sleeping bags and extra socks.

Did I mention socks? You want some nice warm hiking socks for the winter and some cool-yet-cushiony socks for summer. The best socks for winter that I've found so far are sold at Wal-Mart in the sporting good section: they're Woolrich's 88% merino wool over-the-calf heavy hiking socks, and they only cost about $8 per pair. Grab some! These are also good socks.

You sound like me. I didn't want to like ask for anything because they might mess it up, but I didn't want to not ask because it would hurt their feelings.
I asked one side to take me to the store to pick out a new racing suit for swimming, but that I wanted to choose the strap thickness and size, but they could choose the pattern. You could do something like that, where it's limited, but they still get some say.
My other side I asked for jewelery, because it's kind of hard to mess up. Plus, I think my parents will probably talk to them and help them.

Sounds like you can get anything you want. That's great.

What about asking to give? and making some unfoutunate children happy. That would be cool.

Or.. If i was a teen.. I would probably want a shoppings spree.. at my fav mall. what girl doesn't like to shop.

* I want a blue diamond for my engament ring..

Ask for jewelry, clothes, or shoes. If you're going to do this, make sure that you go shopping with your grandpa, that way he won't pick out something you don't like.

Have a great x-mas!!!!
