As a recovered alcoholic, It's A Wonderful Life, in my opinion is the most spiritual movie I have ever seen apart from The Ten Commandments

I've got "It's a Wonderful Life" on a DVD, and the special material finally solved a mystery for me. The reason we have seen it so much on TV over the years is that, due to an administrative error, its copyright was not renewed when it came up. So the TV stations could play it without having to pay a royalty. So, ask yourself this: do we see it so often because we love it, or do we love it because we see it so often?

Christmas is about traditions, after all.
