When I had a dog, she always knew the holidays were special. She knew that she could expect a small bowl of turkey, mashed potatoes, vegetables, stuffing with gravy. I would mix it together and she loved it. It's the only time she would get such a treat. How can you resist moist brown eyes staring longingly up at you as you slice the turkey??

Yes my dogs get the bones of the turkey, my cat gets the nasty fatty pieces that we dont eat, my bird eats anything and everything of the thanksgiving meal, annd my chickens eat leftover cornbread, mashed potates, rolls, etc. :D

Cats got turkey flavored cat food (they wont eat turkey) AND I feed the squirrels in the yard AND put out the bird feeder for the season. does that count?

Yeah, I give them the bones, and after they keel over, I put their carcasses in the dumpster. I'm kidding, of course, and I don't have pets, but if I did, I wouldn't give a Thanksgiving dinner to them. I'd only give them leftovers that couldn't be saved and eaten later.

You bet. We gave a small sample to our dogs, and some for our cat. She goes crazy when you give her turkey. She never gets it. It is like a drug to her, she just wants more.
