How can you talk crap on LSU and claim they're overrated when OSU beat NO ONE... and they lost to an unranked team at home, just like LSU did? Are you admitting OSU is overrated and they suck too?

I mean, at least LSU beat Florida, Virginia Tech, and Auburn. Who did OSU beat? Kent State and Akron?

Before everyone flames me for being an LSU fan, I'm not. I like Tennessee.

I just don't like hypocrites.

Dude, this schedule thing is getting real old. Get a new angle, everybody else lost to lesser teams twice. No more discussion needed.

LSU lost to two unranked teams, not one. And Illinios is ranked now, where as Arkansas and Kentucky both are not. OSU is 30-2 over the last 32 games, with 2 wins over teams ranked number 2 in the country. And LSU fans talk more crap than anyone else on this board. Hey Jkels, one of the big reasons the Big ten doesn't have a title game, is because they don't believe the big ten title should be decided by a game in 4 feet of snow. Also, the SEC decided to add a title game, the big ten didn't decide to take one away. You don't like it, tell the sec to go back to the way it was.

Not many top 25 teams play anyone else in the top 25 that is out of conference - there are exceptions. And the top 25 is decided by writers who I guarentee don't watch as many games as I do. The week that Tenn (3-2) demolished Georgia (4-2) the AP still had Georgia ranked ahead of them.

LSU did beat Fla VT and Auburn - but who did Fla VT and Auburn play and beat.
OSU beat Mich, PSU and Wisc - but who did Mich PSU and Wisc play and beat.

Until there is a real playoff system in college there will always be a debate over who is the true #1. This year, unless Kansas runs the table, there will be no unbeaten teams from the Big 6 conferences.

To me it is easy, have the Big 6 and 2 at-large teams play in the 4 major bowls.
Rose: Big10 vs Pac10
Orange: ACC vs BigEast
Sugar: SEC vs At-large (other than another SEC team)
Fiesta: Big12 vs At-large (other than another Big12 team)

Have the Rose-Fiesta winners play (alternate sites between the rose bowl and fiesta bowl stadiums each year)
Have the Sugar-Orange bowl winners play (alternate sites between the sugar bowl and orange bowl stadiums each year).
Then the Sunday before the Super Bowl - have the 2 teams standing play (alternating the site between the 4 bowls stadiums). I think it would be bigger and better than the Super Bowl (at least it would be competitive). That way the 4 bowls won't cry about losing money because they would be getting more games and more $$$.

man people are gonna talk no matter who their team plays. But if they will just be real for a minute then we can start to discuss some reality. I am a full blown Trojan fan but I'm down here in the south and get to watch the most competitive conference in the country. And I agree with jkels.. there are so many teams that would not last in the SEC. I'm just a UGA fan here in this conference but it's hard to win here so when FLA, UGA or LSU is ranked top 10 it is well deserved. So there never any overrated teams in the SEC.
OSU is good but they didn't play any teams to prove how strong they were. Even with Michigan, look how close that game was- Mich played poorly.

WELL DONE AND WELL SAID, VJX!

Ohio State is the same team that got their faces kicked in last year. And if their lucky enough to make it to the BCS Championship it will happen again. They play in a one team conference and still ended up with a loss. Now that's sad!

I think it's BS that the Big Ten doesn't have a title game. The competition in the Big Ten is not nearly as competitive as the SEC. I'm in favor of all BCS conferences having a title game. It's simply unfair. LSU would run the table in the Big Ten and so would Georgia.
