I'm sure that they do, but I just wonder how? As in, do you see pictures/colours etc, or is it more sounds and general feelings, tastes/touch etc?
Although I'm interested to hear anyone's opinions, I'd be especially interested to hear from people who are blind themselves.

I think dreaming must be a very different experience for someone born blind and someone who went blind later in life- if you're born blind you might have no concept of what "seeing" is actually.. like, whereas someone born with sight knows how the experience generally works and so may be more able to imagine solid images, even images of things they didn't see while able to see, but may have touched/smelt/heard etc. For instance, I read of one person who lost their sight seeing the faces of people he had met after going blind in his dreams after touching them and developing a "mental picture." I imagine that would kind of be like imagining how a character in a book looks (like a previous poster said!)
