$5,600. I like to always look at 50% first, then work my way down. Since you already know that half of 14 is 7, you know, you're close.

if you dont have a way to find out a whole % like that you can just take the . over one space to the left then that will be 10 % and if you want to find out say 40 you take that number times 4 because you already have 10 if you get what im saying...

well what is 40%?? It means 40/100 0r .40

so .40 *14000= $5600

If I said Quick, show me you understand..what is 16% of 14000?

you would say well 16% means 16/100 or .16

so .16*14000= $2240

Get it??
