With the SMC Barricade (which is a very good unit by the way) you can use the online help from SMC
Log in to the router
at http://192.168.2.1 (unless you changed the router IP)
First enable encryption
http://www.smc.com/index.cfm?event=promotion&localeCode=EN_USA&pageNum=12#wlanr-a2
That really should keep everyone out most of the time and will encrypt your wireless transmissions so they can't be read.
You should find MAC filtering in the same area on the router.

You can then set the FIREWALL rules to only allow YOUR machines if you wanted to be really secure. Overkill in most cases.

Well, restricting access by MAC address is possible but without knowing the brand and model of your router makes it difficult to give direct instructions on how to do so. The basic methods of blocking wireless clients by MAC address is to log into the web administration panel of the router. You can do this usually by directing your internet browser at the IP address of your router check your manual for information on it or you can usually use the "default gateway" of your computer. Once there you will log in with a username and password. If you changed it you will have to remember it, if not you will find it in your manual or on many places across the internet. After this you will just have to poke around to find it or read the manual.

If you have a Linksys Router it is easy.
Logon to the admin page, Change to Access Restrictions, then choose Edit list of PCs>
Enter the MAC addresses and your network is secure.

If you have a different brand, it should be something similar.

Good luck!
