I know how to swim but have developed a phobia towards deep water since I came very close to drowning when I swam in 9' of water with my daughter on my back and went under... until saved by a man. It is an experience I will never forget and has since caused a fear of swimming.

just and ld Song my uncle from WWii used to tease me with.
I was good enough swimmer to be a Life guarde, i could hold my Breath under water swimming for over 4 minutes when i was 14 tell i stopped swimming when i was about 20.

Yes, and I love it. I go to the YMCA and workout and sometimes I go for a swim..It is one of the best forms of exercise.
