Long story short is that I work for a fortune 100 company, actually I think it is a fortune 5 company. I am supposed to get paid my commission at the end of every month. Well for the check I am supposed to get 11/30 they are saying we arent getting it until 12/14 because they made an accouting error or something.

Is that legal? I had plans for that $6,000

Yes, it is perfectly legal. They gave you notice of the error and must correct it within a "reasonable" time period. That time period can be as much as 180 days.
