neither..it's that the SEC is underrated. I am a UGA fan only because I live here but also want every other top SEC team to lose because I'm a Trojan fan. I have watched many SEC games since I moved here and this is the most competitive conference in the nation. This conference does not get as much attention as it should and it's because of the team records- every game played in this conference is never a guaranteed win. It is very hard to go undefeated in this conference so when your overall record does not include a loss, you deserve to be considered one of the top teams in the country.
..and the comment saying that the Big 12 and SEC run the BCS is a lie. This season is the first season that the Big 12 has been up there like that. Kansas is a serious surprise and I'm sure Mizz was not expected to get any higher than #15. Even with the SEC.. LSU, FLA and UGA are ranked in the top 10/11 every year because they have great teams. I've heard people say this before about how certain conferences are favored but I think the favoritism is more on a team-by-team basis.

Arkansas was under-rated and well didn't play consistently all year. This was their chance to prove that they are a good team. I honestly believe they could have beaten 20 of the top 25 today and the other five would have been tested severely. LSU has played and beaten more ranked teams than anyone this year. They are banged up. They played hurt and I am proud of them. LSU also played 2 of the 3 best offensive players in America this year in Tebow and McFadden. Beat one and lost to the other. Money on McFadden to win the Heisman. I would have loved to have seen LSU play Oregon and Dixon. To those who hate LSU, go ahead and gloat. To the Hog fans, you won, enjoy it, you earned it. My Tiger pride is still intact and that will never change. Geaux Tigers!!!!

They along with all the teams in the Big 12, and the rest of the S.E.C. are overrated. They're at the top of the polls because people connected to these conferences are in control of the B.C.S. It's a shame because all of college football is affected by this unethical system. Finally these prof-erred conferences must realize we need a playoff, in order to restore some honor to the sport!

i think LSU's defense just wasn't fast enough on the edges. the pursuit wasn't there. Arkansas is just a hard team to match up with.

neither. LSU was just the best last wk. there's no best this yr in college football, everyone's sorta all over the place.
LSU was really good last wk & before, so they got moved up to #1 in the BCS rankings, and now they'll be moved down and someone else will be moved to #1 even though they're not necessarily the best in the NCAA.

LSU's defense was quite overrated. I still think that they could have won. They should have just fed Jacob Hester the ball on that 2 point conversion.
